Doing it the old fashioned way...

Online dating.

Hmmm.

I've been meeting people online since I was a kid and we use to log on (after waiting 20 minutes for the modem to connect) to Prodigy and browse the bulletin boards. Back then it was mostly "pen pals" but I did run into men a few times who would send naughty messages...bleck.

I've been subscribed to Match.com for the past 4 or 5 years. I have never paid for it and for a while they had free instant messaging but other than that I've never really used it much. I've also been listed on a few other places like that without ever doing much.

So on Saturday I finally deleted my profiles from all the singles sites I was a member of. It was liberating and I'm actually feeling relieved. I waste so much time (5 minutes here, 5 minutes there) and now I can use put that time to use on other things that waste my time...like redoing my budget 50 times over because I can't keep track of where I put the paper.

Being single is a good thing.
At least for now.
But I'm not opposed to meeting someone...online just isn't gonna work for me.
